AFEW International has recently published the sixth issue of the newsletter that tells about how the preparation of Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA) countries for the 22nd International AIDS Conference (AIDS 2018). Spotlighting the state of the epidemic and the HIV response in EECA with a focus on investments, structural determinants and services is one of the Conference’s objectives next year. AFEW International is closely cooperating with the focal points that are located in the region in order to provide useful information. Six activists from Ukraine, Russia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan are monitoring the process of preparation, interviewing decision makers, officials and celebrities, write stories and promote the Conference in the region.
